- 2 Beds

Only one look will be needed to fall in love with this wonderful cottage located in one of the most sort after areas of Bribie Island Red Beach. The owners have much family history in the area. The photo below is when the cottage was originally built for their Great Aunt Rose as a weekender in 1953 (Great Grandfather James McDonald is on the right Great Aunt Rose in the middle). The cottage was originally part of an old Queenslander in Brisbane, the cook house. Their Great Grandfather dismantled it and shipped it to Bribie. McDonald Street is named after him.
The cottage would make a lovely home as well as a great holiday getaway with side access for a boat or caravan. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms, a dining area, kitchen then steps down to a living area. Many original features can be found throughout.
Situated just a short walk to the beaches of the Pumicestone Passage which seasonally homes dolphins and dugongs and overlooks the stunning Glass House Mountains. Shops, cafes and local amenities are all to hand here.
